Dear Jerry:

While reading the above copy of a letter you wrote to a news reporter back in 1974 that you have posted on your official website, I find you did something similar when this reporter attacked your friend, Frank Sinatra. I have attached the first page of your letter and a reminder of just how much of a hypocrite you seem to have turned out to be. 

Why was it wrong in your eyes for the reporter to attack Frank Sinatra and right for you to attack these young troubled celebrities?  Why have you changed so much?   You stated, "You must challenge injustice, intolerance and every other ugly individual's attack of any other individual... no matter what ..." 

I would say your personal attack on these young troubled celebrities is even more damaging than the reporters comments about your buddy, Frank Sinatra.  You stated in your video interview that you would: "Slap Lindsay Lohan across the face if you saw her.  And if that wasn't enough you would put her across you knee and spank her."  Really?

ps .... I have been a fan of yours most of my life. I just think it was wrong for you to have attacked these women the way you did.
