Marty. Thank you for sending me a copy of your book, "Once Life Matters" in return for my cash donation.  I think the book is wonderful and am sharing it with some of my neighbor's kids who are on drugs and love rock and roll music.  They need Jesus and I know your book with be a real witness to them.  Thanks again and may God richly bless you, brother Marty.  - BM - Newark, NJ

I have almost read your book and it is super! I think that it has application to the non-prison world as well. I have been in prison ministry for seven years and on the board of a local men's ministry as well and find that while all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God... not all got caught. I also think that we as men need more passion for being about God's work and not be lead away by the world. Sadly though all too many are accepting the crumbs that fall from the table instead of eating at his table.  Blessings. - WC - Dallas, TX

First of all, I want to thank you for sharing your wonderful and "astounding" testimony in your book. I never knew you went through so much torment before the Lord finally got a hold of you. He's sometimes so relentless in His pursuit (like the "Hound of Heaven") but I'm sure you thank Him every day for never giving up on you! - BH - Colden, NY

Marty, I appreciate your concern and want to thank you for taking time out of your day to send me your book.  My husband of almost one year in April, and has spent the last half of that year behind bars in County jail. While serving his sentence of six months for violating probation, a new charge was filed against him that unfortunately left him with a term of 6 1/2 years in prison! This was extremely devastating to not only us, but mostly to our three year old daughter who is very close to daddy and doesn't understand what is going on. Anyways, we've been through so much together already and I don't want him to give up now, so I'm doing my best to send him everything I can to help him stay strong and keep his head up. He absolutely loves to read (He's read 70 x 7 and Beyond and swears it's a story about his life) - DC - Phoenix, AZ

I'm looking forward to reading your book. I hope my donation helps your ministry.  I have been out of the groove for almost 5 yrs because of caring for my mom who had Alzheimer and graduated to Glory this past December. Just getting started back. Hope to get back in full swing by this fall into prison ministry again. I have missed it. - LH - Fort Myers, FL

I am the director of a prison ministry that among other activities, sends Bible correspondence courses to inmates and chaplains across Canada. We also send award books, after an inmate completes multiples of 5, 10, 15, etc, courses, and I am ordering this new book to see if it would be appropriate to use as an award book. If so, we will be ordering 500-1000, to send across Canada! - GB - Arva, Ontario

Thank you so much for your book. I was overwhelmed by the mercy and goodness of God after reading the copy of the e-mail that was sent to you from that inmate and of learning how God answered your sister's faithful prayers and those of others for you. How truly marvelous and amazing and awesome God is that He can put together all the broken and painful pieces of our lives in such a way that they can bring glory to Him and then be used to bring help and comfort and hope and blessing to others!!!! I have started to read your book. It is wonderful and I am enjoying it--all the while praising God for using you and your willingness to serve Him to tell others of how they too can claim Jesus as their own personal LORD & SAVIOR. JN - Scottsdale, AZ

Please know how much we all enjoyed reading your newly published book, "Once Life Matters". Thanks ever so much for having your sister send it to the ladies in our prayer group! I am such a firm believer in "the power of prayer" and was so deeply touched by your sister's sincere love for you, and her persistence and faith in knowing that God would turn you around to see the "Light" if she stayed by your side. The book was so very moving and inspiring and I'm certain that your testimony has changed many lives in seeing God's way. I read the book in two evenings--it brought tears to my eyes--and I then passed it around to family and a few friends--but now have it back on our bookshelf again. - MHO - Buffalo, NY
